History
Sober Water was founded by Bennie Tate in 2012 in San Antonio Texas. I grew up during the 80’s and 90’s and had an opportunity to watch the area that I grew up in which was the East Side of San Antonio lose a ton of great people to things like drugs and alcohol. I have always had a drive to be able to help the youth and people in general become educated on the importance of health in the community and now I plan on spreading this knowledge to the entire world.
About Us
The goals and mission of Sober Water are to spread information to the public about how important staying hydrated on a daily basis is and how a healthy pH level in the water that you drink is extremely important in our everyday lives. Our water provides a 8.1 pH level and is high in alkaline.
Benefits:
Sober Water is natural premium light mineral spring water with a natural high pH level of 8.1 compared to other purified tap water/Spring water or Artesian Waters whose pH levels will typically range from 3.5 to 7.0. Our bottles are also BPA free and 100% recyclable whereas other bottles are standard plastic or 25% less plastic with no biodegradable bottles. Sober Water also has natural minerals which gives it a superior taste compared to other bottled waters which typically use a reverse osmosis process which reduces or removes taste altogether. Sober Water also naturally contains fluoride with no additives and is micron and ultraviolet filtered and then bottled, compared to our competitors which the water will often times contain additives. Fluoride may or may not be added and since the water is filtered with the reverse osmosis process, this could strip the water of all nutrients before it is even bottled. Finally, water with a low pH (anything below 7) is considered acidic and has low oxygen levels. Sober Water, which provides a pH level of 7.8, can offset the negative affects of acidic foods and beverages providing the body with higher oxygen levels and can be absorbed into the body’s system faster.
